We have recently been working with the Natural Environmental Research Council to provide a solution for Cashless Card Sytsem to be installed on the three UK Research Ships, RRS Charles Darwin, RRS Discovery and RRS James Cook. These travel the high seas from the Arctic Circle to the Antarctic completing scientific research. The system comprises instant Cashless Software with Drill-Down and Total Stock Control Software from Fidelity CRM, Uniwell DX890 colour touch-screen terminals and CBM1000 thermal printers. We have also supplied cashless cards complete with photos and ship graphics and a portable Access Control System with a proximity reader using the same multi-function cashless card.
Scottish & newcastle Pub enterprises - spirit group
In the Spring of 2005 we worked closely with Scottish & Newcastle to achieve the tight deadlines required to allow them to replace all the equipment in over 300 pubs they purchased from the Spirit Group. We achieved this by a mixture of new Uniwell TX870 colour touch-screen terminals and printers together with a short-term solution provided by pre-set hire cash registers. Once again the deadlines were met and the installation was completed within 6 hectic weeks.
London Irish RFC
London Irish Rugby Football Cub have recently purchased a Uniwell Epos system for the bars at their ground at Richmond. The system reports back to Fidelity Total Control back-office software package. We wish them well on the pitch and hope that their supporters keep the tills busy toasting the success of the team.
Cafe Royal, London
One of our existing customers, Bar Eivisa, directors Paul Carew and Neville Mody, have recently gone "up west" and opened the Elysium in the Cafe Royal, Regent Street, London. A complete new refit in an "Arabian Nights" theme has been a great success with Wedderburn installing 11 x Uniwell SX700 mono touch-pad registers and printers. These are all linked to state-of-the-art digital CCTV cameras to capture instant or time-lapse replays of suspicious events without the need for video recorders. The full solution was completed with Fidelity Total Stock Control and Instant Loyalty Card software packages.
The Royal Albert Hall
We are proud to have supplied 28 Uniwell SX8500 colour screen terminals together with 10 printers and Fidelity Total Control software. The system was installed in a very short time-slot when the hall was closed for only a few days and yet everything was ready for the opening night. We worked closely with Paul Rockwood of Leatherby & Christopher Catering Contractors and Geoff Barrett of Barrett & Barclay Electrical.

After many months of hard negotiations Mecca Bingo Ltd, who are part of the Rank Leisure Division, awarded Wedderburn the contract to supply, install and support the new EPOS system into all 127 clubs throughout the UK. This project involves having Uniwell 'Stockmaster' 32 bit, multi-user software running on Windows NT at Head Office in Maidenhead. Having 'Stockmaster' site software installed in all 127 bingo halls nationwide along with 450 Uniwell UXM750 cash register keystations and thermal printers.
